Dovington Training Center Quarantine Lifted

Bob Moore, the Delaware Department of Agriculture animal health inspector and supervisor, announced Wednesday, Dec. 31, that the quarantine of horses at the Dovington Training Center was lifted.

The center, located in Felton, was the site of an Equine Herpes virus case earlier this month.

“All horses (at Dovington) are free to go about business as usual,” Moore said.

The quarantine at the Tana Merah Training Center, where an Equine Herpes virus case also was discovered, remains in effect.
