The fields are now set for Flamboro Downs' signature event, Confederation Cup XXXV with a top-notch field of 16 pacing colts and geldings headlined by North America Cup champion Up The Credit

.

With a mark of 1:49 and earnings in excess of $939,000 on the season, Up The Credit is both the richest and fastest of the 16 colts set to compete for the $650,000 in purses. The Western Terror - Cantbuymehappiness colt, owned by trainer Carl Jamieson of Princeton, Tom Kyron of Toronto, Brian Paquet of Quebec and Joanne Morrison of Beeton, Ont., comes into the race off a second-place finish against older foes on Saturday night at Mohawk Racetrack. Harness racing's World Driving Champion Jody Jamieson is listed to drive.

A recent purchase by owners Joanne & Richard Young of Florida, Foreclosure N will hope for some luck at Thursday's draw after qualifying for both the North America Cup and the Meadowlands Pace and subsequently drawing the worst post available in each of those million-dollar events. Randy Waples gets the call in Foreclosure's first start for trainer Kevin O'Reilly after a 1:53.2 tightener in a qualifying mile last Friday.

The only supplement in the field is Hare Craft, whose connections ponied up $25,000 for his toughest test to date. A recent winner in 1:51 at Mohawk for driver Aaron Byron, Hare Craft is owned by Steve Heimbecker of Waterloo, Ont. and trained by Ryan Maxwell.

On Thursday morning, the post position draw was televised on CHCH Morning Live. The top four finishers plus one fifth place horse, selected by draw, will advance to the $532,000 final in Race 12.
