See You At Peelers In Sports Illustrated

See You At Peelers and her 20 race win streak have made it to the pages of Sports Illustrated this week

.

In a half page story in the July 25 issue with soccer star Hope Solo on the cover, and a photo of her world record (1:49.2) at Tioga Downs, Charlie Leerhsen says the three-year-old pacing filly carries herself, “like a true queen of the turf” and notes her, “ability to mix power with grace.”

The story is on page 16 of the magazine, with the heading, “Record Pace.”

Leerhsen, former executive editor at Sports Illustrated, is the author of “Crazy Good” about Dan Patch. He is also the author of “Blood and Smoke,” released this year about the first Indianapolis 500.
