Three Fall Series At Rideau Announced

Rideau Carleton Raceway and the National Capital Region Harness Horse Association have announced the details of three fall series which will be contested at Rideau

.

All series carry a $100 nomination fee and must be nominated no later than Monday, November 15, 2010.

The details on the series are below.

Ottawa South Trotting Series

• For trotters to be claimed for $10,000, who are nw $40,000 (FM $50,000) lifetime as of Monday, November 15, 2010
• Ontario-sired horses receive a 25% allowance on their lifetime earnings
• Horses must start in both preliminary legs to be eligible to the final event.
• Horses must have a minimum of five pari-mutuel starts at Rideau in 2010 to be eligible to this series
• No claiming in the final

First leg -- Friday, November 26, 2010 -- $20,000
Second leg -- Friday, December 3, 2010 -- $30,000
Final -- Friday, December 10, 2010 -- $40,000

Blossom Park Trotting Series

• For trotters to be claimed for $8,500
• Horses must start in both preliminary legs to be eligible for the final event
• Horses must have a minimum of five pari-mutuel starts at Rideau in 2010 to be eligible for this series
• No claiming in the final

First leg -- Thursday, November 25, 2010 -- $15,000
Second leg -- Thursday, December 2, 2010 -- $20,000
Final -- Thursday, December 9, 2010 -- $30,000

Findlay Creek Pacing Series

• For pacers to be claimed for $8,500
• Horses must start in both preliminary legs to be eligible for the final event
• Horses must have a minimum of five pari-mutuel starts at Rideau in 2010 to be eligible for this series
• No claiming in the final

First leg -- Sunday, November 21, 2010 -- $15,000
Second leg -- Sunday, November 28, 2010 -- $20,000
Final -- Sunday, December 5, 2010 -- $30,000
