In winning what was his fifth consecutive race this month, Title Town claimed the $8,500 Preferred 3 Pace on Sunday night (April 29) at Flamboro Downs, as he put in a gate-to-wire performance for trainer Dean Nixon.

Driver Bob McClure sent Lexington Harness Group's six-year-old Metropolitan-Pan Of Iniquity gelding to the top and carved out panels of :28, :57.3 and 1:25.4 en route to victory in 1:55.1. Strato Boy (J Harris) followed one and a quarter length behind off a pocket trip while 9-5 favourite Audreys Dream (Ed Hensley) and Monte Cristo (Colin Kelly) finished in a dead-heat for third.

Title Town, who has been racing in Ontario since March, was the 2-1 second wagering choice and returned $6.70 to win.

The victory was his seventh this year from 16 starts and 15th lifetime pushing his bankroll to $56,799.
