Mike And Mike Live Remote Schedule

Post Time with Mike and Mike presented by BetAmerica is excited to announce its 2018 live remote schedule which has expanded from earlier years.

Since its inception, Post Time with Mike and Mike has had many successful live remotes all over North America. In 2017, the duo had the pleasure of covering events from the Molson Pace (Camluck Classic) at Western Fair, to the Hambletonian at Meadowlands Racing and Entertainment, to the Breeders Crown championships at Hoosier Park Racing and Casino at the end of the year.

The duo’s 2018 schedule is as follows:

► Saturday, May 26 - Camluck Classic; Western Fair Raceway, London, ON

► Saturday, June 16 - Pepsi North America Cup; Mohawk Racetrack, Milton, ON

► Sunday, July 8 - New Vocations Fundraiser; Jackson Fairgrounds, Jackson, MI

► Saturday, July 14 - Crawford Farms Meadowlands Pace; Meadowlands Racetrack, East Rutherford, NJ

► Saturday, August 4 - Hambletonian; Meadowlands Racetrack, East Rutherford, NJ

► Friday, August 10 - Dan Patch Stakes; Hoosier Park Racing and Casino, Anderson, IN

► Friday, September 21 - Hoosier Pacing Derby; Hoosier Park Racing and Casino, Anderson, IN

The Molson Pace (Camluck Classic) was the duo’s first trip to Canada to cover a major stakes event. The storied history behind the Molson Pace is unprecedented and has featured many great winners including State Treasurer who has won the event three times. In 2017, Bit Of A Legend N proved to the best on the big night.

“We are pleased to have our signature race showcased for the second straight year on the Mike and Mike live broadcast, especially as the kick off race of the season. As the popularity of the show continues to grow, it makes total sense for us to be a part of it,” said Western Fair's Greg Blanchard. "It's particularly exciting with this year making the inaugural edition of the Camluck Classic. This race has become an important one of the annual calendar and we want this first edition to be a memorable one."

In 2018, Mike and Mike will expand their Canadian coverage to include the Pepsi North America Cup at Mohawk. This will be the first trip for the duo to the historic track which has played host to some of North America’s greatest races. In the 25th edition of the big race, Somebeachsomewhere put on a show for his Canadian fans storming home to a four-length victory.

Another addition to the live remote schedule in 2018 was the New Vocations Fundraiser that will take place at the Jackson Fairgrounds in Jackson, Michigan on Sunday, July 9. The fundraiser will feature a telethon style live remote to help promote New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program to help support racehorse after care. The show will consist of a three-hour broadcast that will include interviews and commentary from some of the horsemen and horsewomen who have raced at the facility throughout the years.

Mike and Mike will return to Meadowlands Racing and Entertainment for the third straight year to help cover some of the sport’s top races. The premier events at the Meadowlands are the Meadowlands Pace and the Hambletonian. This will be the second year that the pair will be covering the historic events which have featured some of the best three-year-old pacing and trotting races of all time.

“We are excited to be working with Mike and Mike again this year at the Meadowlands Racetrack on Meadowlands Pace night and Hambletonian Day, two of our sport's biggest days. Mike and Mike continue to promote the sport with positive energy and reinforce all the good in our sport,” said Jason Settlemoir.

Another focus in 2018 will be a return to Hoosier Park Racing and Casino where the duo will return also for the third straight year. In 2017, Mike and Mike saw some of the sport’s top horses compete over three separate events culminating at the end of the year with the Breeders Crown. The Dan Patch Stakes and Hoosier Park Pacing Derby nights are some of the biggest nights in the Midwest.

“Hoosier Park Racing and Casino is very pleased to partner with Post Time with Mike and Mike for our major races again this season. At Hoosier Park, we take pride in celebrating these special nights of live harness racing and the Post Time crew certainly lends credibility to these nights. It’s always a pleasure to have them on board and we are looking forward to the 2018 season,” said Rick Moore, Vice President and General Manager of Racing.

Joining the pair again in 2018 will be the excellent broadcast team of Jessica Otten, Garnet Barnsdale, Taylor Johnston, and Rich Mattei. These people helped Mike and Mike throughout the entire 2017 season and will continue those efforts in 2018. Otten, a native of Michigan will be responsible for a majority of the paddock and winners’ circle interviews, also assisting the pair with their social media accounts at some of the big events. This year, Otten will also co-host the Dan Patch Stakes at Hoosier Park, her first time in the role. Barnsdale, will help to co-host the Camluck Classic, Pepsi North America Cup, and the Hambletonian at the Meadowlands.
