Drivingthedragon N led through a :28 first quarter before yielding the lead to War Filly. In control through fractions of :58 and 1:27.3, War Filly faced first-over pressure around the final turn from On The Minute Mark, while Big Lis fanned wide off her cover circling into the stretch. Driver Robert Shepherd directed Drivingthedragon N to the inside of War Filly to snag victory in 1:58.1. War Filly held second with On The Minute Mark third.

A nine-year-old mare by Sutter Hanover out of the Mystical Shark mare Shark Alert, Drivingthedragon N, owned by Donald Mac Rae, won her 30th race in 97 starts, earning $167,767. Trained by Isabelle Darveau, she paid $5.30 to win.
