Monday Book Signing At Harrisburg Sale

The Standardbred Retirement Foundation will be hosting a book-signing event for the release of ‘Momentous: Racing to Glory.’

Author Fred Hudson will be at SRF's booth during the Harrisburg sale, at the Pa. Farm Show and Arena on Monday, November 6 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be 100 books available for purchase with proceeds to benefit SRF, sponsored by Allerage Farms and Jeff and Paula Gural.

Momentous: Racing to Glory follows an outlaw horse feared by most horsemen, declared unmanageable and dangerous. The rogue horse was barred from racing at most of the country's racetracks after killing someone and putting many others in the hospital. Along comes a green novice trainer who had no fear of the horse and saw something in him that no one else saw. Together they would form a bond of love and trust that would lead them to winning many races and capturing the hearts of many fans along the way. Fan clubs were formed and nicknames were given to the crazy and wild horse – Crazy Moe, Pecks Bad Boy, Rahner's Rogue, Mighty Moe, and Magnificent Momentous. This is their story – a story of two underdogs overcoming all odds to achieve success on the toughest racing circuit in the world.
