Four For Ingraham; Handicapping Contest Saturday

David Ingraham, the back-to-back champion driver at Rockingham Park in 2005-2006, posed for winner's circle pictures four times on Friday afternoon and moved into a tie for second place in the standings for the current meet

With his quartet of victories on Friday's 11-race card, Ingraham boosted his total wins to 33 while Richard Wojcio, who began the day in second place, won three races to also bring his number to 33 wins. Both drivers are now equal in the second spot behind Bruce Ranger, who won one race on Friday and stretched his lead to 38 wins with 20 days of the current 50-day meet completed.

On Saturday, the track will host the semi-finals of the annual Coors Light/Rockingham Park Harness Handicapping Contest with $1,000 in cash prizes up for grabs.

There is no charge to enter and contestants must handicap the Rockingham live card with a mythical bankroll and bet in $20 increments. All completed entries have to be turned in to the admissions department on track no later than 15 minutes prior to first post at 1:05 p.m. The top 40 finishers will be invited back the following Saturday to compete in the final round and vie for a $500 first prize, a $300 second prize, and a $200 third prize.
