Longtime harness racing industry participant Jean-Pierre Houle passed away at Haut-Richelieu Hospital in Quebec on Friday, September 23, 2022, at the age of 77.
Mr. Houle was a breeder and owner of Standardbreds for more than 50 years, naming his horses with the Pier Ho prefix.
Son of the late Albert Houle and the late Fernande Marois, he is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Michelle Houle, and his daughter Pascale (Pierre Létourneau).
The family will receive condolences on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. followed by a religious service at the Complexe Funéraire Urgel Bourgie, 8145 Chemin Chambly, St-Hubert, Que.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
