On Saturday, Sept. 11, the beer will flow at Meadowlands Racing and Entertainment for annual Craft Beer Fest.
Doors open for VIP at 4:30 p.m., with General Admission at 5:30 p.m., and beer is poured until 9:30 p.m. The VIP ticket is $85 and includes an additional one hour of sampling, exclusive VIP Tent beer samplings, and food. General Admission begins at 5:30 pm and is available in advance for $45 or at the door for $50. The event is rain or shine.
Over 60 breweries and cideries will be participating including a number of local New Jersey craft breweries. New Jersey favourites Lone Eagle Brewing, NJ Beer Co., Toms River Brewing, Ashton Brewery, Bolero Snort, Broad Street Seltzers, Flying Fish, Untied Brewing, Seven Tribesman, Ghost Hawk and 902 Brewing will be pouring at the festival.
Pennsylvania favourites including Weyerbacher, Victory, Evil Genius, Neshaminy Creek and Yards will also be featured. Defiant, Ithaca, Southern Tier, Brooklyn, Coney Island, Captain Lawrence, Blue Point, and Ommegang are just a few New York based companies that will be available for tasting.
Other breweries and cideries featured at the festival include: Breckenridge, Elysian Brewery, Golden Road, Avery, Epic, Eeschutes, Graft Cider, Virtue Cider, Goose Island, Kona, Bira91, Revolution, Magic Hat, Harpoon, Clown Shoes, Firestone Walker, Allagash, Great Lakes, Lagunitas, Terrapin, Oskar Blues, Founders, Narragansett, Austin East Cider, Downeast Cider, New Belgium, Cigar City, Brew Dog, Left Hand, Sweetwater Brewing, Boulevard Brewing, Two Roads, and Ballast Point. Live harness racing kicks off at 6:20 p.m., and DJ ALX will be providing the festival music.
