The annual Relay for Life, in support of the Canadian Cancer Society, PEI Division, will be held on the grounds of Red Shores’ Charlottetown Driving Park beginning on Friday, June 12 at 8 a.m., thus, the racing surface will be closed.
The closure will be in effect from Friday, June 12 at 8 a.m. until Saturday, June 13 at 8 a.m.
Red Shores is a proud supporter of the event, and the horsemen and horsewomen stabled on the grounds take a break from their busy training schedule for these hours to support the annual fundraiser, as participants set up in the centrefield and walk the legendary oval.
