The Meadowlands Racetrack has announced that it has added a new, four-week series to its
summer racing schedule.
The series is for three-year-old pacers.
The Summer Survivor Series, which will begin June 2, is for non-winners of two pari-mutuel races or $25,000 lifetime as of May 1, 2011 (winners over $75,000 lifetime are ineligible).
The series consists of two preliminary 'brackets' and a semi-final round which will narrow the competition for an estimated $100,000 final on July 2.
The $550 nomination fee for the Summer Survivor Series is due Thursday, May 19. The stakes application is available here.
