The National Capital Regional Harness Horse Association is now accepting nominations for drivers for this year's Coville Cup tournament, which is scheduled for
Sunday, August 21, 2011.
The tournament will showcase young reinsmen that are trying to further their driving careers but have yet to drive an abundance of horses.
The winner of the 'A' division of the championship will return to Rideau Carleton Raceway for a 15-race, head-to-head match-up with Darrell Coville in January of 2012.
Participants in the past have generally had less than four lifetime wins or less than 100 lifetime drives.
The Coville Cup will take place on Sunday, August 21 as part of NCRHHA's annual Night of Champions.
The NCRHHA selection committee reserves the right to select the drivers for the tournament.
