Persistent rain, accompanied by lightning, forced the cancellation of the remainder of the live racing card at Miami Valley Raceway on Wednesday (April 5) after the third race.
Weather forecasts called for the lightning storms to continue for several more hours.
The second leg of the Dr. Dan Farwick Memorial, a late closer slated for the sixth and eighth races on Wednesday, will be carried over as drawn to Wednesday, April 12 with the championship final moved back to April 19.
Miami Valley will resume racing on Thursday, April 6 with the regular 4 p.m. (EDT) post time.
