SC's March 15 Stakes Payments Due

Standardbred Canada (SC) would like to remind owners and trainers that stakes payments are due March 15, 2023.

Payment information and stake conditions can be viewed on the Online Stakes Guide by clicking here.

A generic stakes form can be used to submit payments by mail. It can be located by clicking here.

Please note: Participants in Atlantic Canada are advised that there will only be one (1) payment for the New Brunswick Breeders for two-year olds (foals of 2021) this year, and that payment was due on February 15, 2023. There is no March 15 payment.

Maritimes: (Two-year-old foals of 2021)

  • Atlantic Sires Stakes - $150
  • PEI Colt Stake - $200
  • Maritime Breeders - $200
  • Lady Slipper Series - $200
  • Joe O’Brien Memorial - $200
  • Dawn Bremner Memorial - $200
  • Milton Downey Memorial - $250
  • Maritimer - $125
  • Phil Pinkney Memorial - $100
  • Barrieau McIsaac Stake - $300

Alberta:

  • Moore’s Mile Breeders - three-year-olds (foals of 2020) - $600
  • Shirley Mcclellan Breeders - three-year-olds (foals of 2020) - $600
  • Bev Sears Memorial - four-year-old mares (foals of 2019) - $200
  • Ed Tracey Memorial - four-year-old horses & gelding (foals of 2019) - $200

If not paying with a credit card via SC Online, please mail and make a cheque payable to:

If paying by cheque or money order, envelopes must be clearly post-marked on or before Wednesday, March 15 to be accepted, despite inadequacies of the postal system.
