It has been reported that officials from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. will be visiting the Quinte region on Tuesday, March 19.
According to a piece by quintenews.com, OLG CEO Rod Phillips will be part of the group that will be in attendance.
The group is scheduled to be in Quinte West in the morning.
Later in the day, Phillips is scheduled to be the guest speaker during a lunch at the Travelodge in Belleville for members of the Quinte West and Belleville Chambers of Commerce.
The reason for the OLG's presence in the Quinte region is to inform area businesses of a casino that has been proposed for the area.
