Commencing Jan. 1, 2024, Standardbred Canada will convert all U.S. purse earnings into Canadian dollars.
Purse earning conversion will take place going forward from Jan. 1, 2024 and will not be retroactive. Purses earned prior to Jan. 1, 2024 will not be converted.
Standardbred Canada has conducted numerous consultations pertaining to the conversion of Canadian purse earnings. Upon implementation of these adjustments, Canada will synchronize with all other racing jurisdictions worldwide.
