Frank J. Bellino is pleased to announce that his spectacular colt and multiple World Champion, Rock N Roll Heaven, will begin his stud career in the Empire State at Blue Chip Farms, in Wallkill, New York
A winner of over $2.6 million in lifetime earnings, Rock N Roll Heaven began his career at two by winning the New Jersey Sire Stakes final, the Bluegrass Stakes, and an elimination of the Governor’s Cup in a record-breaking 1:50.3f (he was second in the final of the Governor’s Cup).
Under the training management of Bruce Saunders, his freshman experience set him up for a spectacular three-year-old campaign.
Rock N Roll Heaven was the sport’s leading money winner in 2010 (either gait) with over $2 million to his credit. His rise to the top started early in the year, as he won the $220,000 Berry’s Creek and the NJSS Championship final. He became invincible after a victory in the Battle of Brandywine in August, as he went on to win 10 straight, including the Little Brown Jug (where he equalled the World Record on a half-mile track with a 1:49.2 performance) and the finals of the Breeders Crown, Bluegrass Stakes, Tattersalls Stakes, and Messenger.
Rock N Roll Heaven is an ideal fit for the New York market, as he has proven himself on all sized tracks. His 2011 stud fee will be $12,000.
