Diamond Creek Farm is pleased to announce that champion pacer Sweet Lou p,5,1:47f ($3,484,251) is fully booked and closed for 2019.

Sweet Lou has served a full book of prestigious mares for the past four years and looks to continue that tradition into the future with another high-quality group of mares in 2019.

Sweet Lou’s two-year-olds excelled on the track, including Breeders Crown champion and world record holder Warrawee Ubeaut and Matron Stakes winner Blood Money.

In Harrisburg this past week, Sweet Lou’s yearlings sold for an average of over $66,000, with a profit of over eight times his stud fee in 2017. He remains the No. 1 sire of two-year-olds by average earnings.

"We are grateful to all the breeders who have continued to support Sweet Lou," said Diamond Creek's Adam Bowden. "They are now being rewarded for their early support by the return on investment they have seen through the yearling sales and on the racetrack."

In 2019, Sweet Lou's stud fee has been bumped to $12,500 as an effect of the success he has found in the sales ring and on the track.
