Up The Credit To Casimir Farm

Casimir Farm has announced that 2011 Pepsi North America Cup winner Up The Credit p,5,1:48.3s ($1,331,623) has been retired and will stand the 2015 breeding season at its nursery in Hagar, Ont.

The six-year-old son of Western Terror—Cantbuymehappiness, by Pacific Rocket retires with 15 wins, 10 second-place efforts and 10 thirds from 79 career starts.

Up The Credit’s 2015 stud fee will be $3,000 and Casimir will also be offering various farm discounts.

In his career on the track, the Carl Jamieson trainee banked over $1.3-million in purse earnings and took a mark of 1:48.3 over the seven-eighths-mile course at Woodbine Racetrack at age five.

The O’Brien Award winning Up The Credit was named Canada’s Three-Year-Old Pacing Colt of the Year in 2011 off the strength of eight wins from 21 starts, and none were bigger than his 1:49.3 victory in the North America Cup at Mohawk Racetrack where he defeated Roll With Joe, Big Jim, Foreclosure N and Big Bad John, among others.

Up The Credit is owned by Carl R Jamieson (of Rockwood, Ont.), Thomas Kyron (Toronto, Ont.) and Joanne Morrison (Beeton, Ont.).
