Rockincam To Stand Stud

It has been announced that Rockincam p,5,1:48.1 ($794,947) will be headed to stud duty for the upcoming breeding season.

The Harness Horse Breeders of New York State have announced that Rockincam, a six-year-old bay son of Cambest, will be standing at Majestic View Farms in Gardiner, New York.

Rockincam was well known for battling it out in overnight, Open and stakes clashes, and battled many of the top horses in racing at the time.

Rockincam’s lifetime mark of 1:48.1 came at age five in his Graduate Pace elimination when he beat Golden Receiver and Foiled Again. He also won the $200,000 Dan Patch in 1:51.1 and the Winbak Pace in 1:50 flat.

In 62 lifetime starts, Rockincam won 25 times and banked $795,237. In those 62 starts, he paced 20 sub-1:50 miles, both in victory and defeat. He closed out his career in 2013 with three consecutive miles in 1:48 and change.

Rockincam will stand at Majestic View Farms (845-255-2357) for a fee of $2,500.
