Red Shores Charlottetown will host a book launch following the Saturday, Oct. 21 race card for "Hoofprints And Heartstrings," a boy's memories of Maritime harness racing in the 1970s, with Saint John, N.B. author Russell Henderson.
Hosted by Lee Drake and Nicole MacPherson, the book launch will begin at 6 p.m. AST or 30 minutes after the Charlottetown card ends. The event will be held live in person in the 1888 Lounge and streamed online at retromedia.ca and redshores.ca.
Special virtual guests will include Billy O'Donnell, Mike Stevenson, Marcel Barrieau and Wally Hennessey.
This new book is publisher Retromedia's fifth harness racing book.
