Stall applications for the 2024 racing season at Buffalo Raceway are now available.
Applications can be obtained from the redesigned website buffaloraceway.com under the "Forms" tab, by contacting Race Secretary Tom Agosti at 716-649-1280 ext. 6234 or picked up at the Western New York Harness Horsemen’s Association office located at Batavia Downs. Applications are due by Jan. 31.
Live racing at the half-mile racetrack will begin Saturday, March 2 and will run through July 20. Post time on Wednesdays will be 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturdays. Beginning in April, Fridays will be added with post time at 2:30 p.m. Click here to view the full schedule.
“Average daily purses will exceed $100,000, with the Open class racing for $14,500,” noted Agosti. “We’ve also brought back the same condition sheet from last year as we saw competitive races and a 30 per cent increase in handle.”
In April, the Raceway will be featuring another Jump Start Series for horses who have had a minimum of two starts at Buffalo Raceway in 2024. More information regarding the series will be released closer to Opening Day.
