Officials with Yonkers Raceway have issued a reminder which states that Tuesday evening’s (Jan. 10) Pick 5 wager will start with a carryover of $2,297.87.
The Pick 5 is a 50-cent base wager that comprises Races 7 through 11 (for programs with at least 11 races; if not, then it goes as Races 6 through 10). It has no consolation payoff, meaning that if no one selects all five winners (as was the Monday night), the entire pool (minus takeout) moves to the next racing program.
Note that Tuesdays are now night cards, with first post at 7:10 p.m.
