Jameson N Lime controlled the tempo and jogged off to an easy victory in Friday’s $15,900 final of a Pop Up Series for freshman filly trotters at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows. Biscoe enjoyed a similarly facile win in Friday’s companion feature, the $15,700 championship of a Pop Up Series for two-year-old colt and gelding trotters.

Once Brady Brown gave Jameson N Lime a comfortable :59.1 opening half, there was little left for him to do. The daughter of Father Patrick-Lindy On The Rocks outdistanced the place finisher, Filthy Moni, by 2-1/4 lengths in 1:57, with Luscious Laverne third.

Steve Schoeffel trains Jameson N Lime, who has won seven of 10 career starts, for Virginia Schoeffel, Kathy Schoeffel, Big L Stable and Mary Owlett.

Hammered down to 1-5 in a four-horse field, Biscoe also controlled the fractions for Dave Palone and broke his maiden in 1:58.3. The pocket-sitting Fast Lane Frank was second, 4-1/4 lengths back, while Fire N Lightning completed the ticket.

Palone and trainer Ron Burke each collected three wins on the 13-race card.

Live harness racing at The Meadows resumes Wednesday, first post 12:45 p.m.
