Woodbine Entertainment today (Thursday, Sept. 30) officially announced a new partnership with ATG to bring Swedish horse racing to HPIbet.
Recently approved by the Canadian Pari-Mutuel Agency (CPMA), HPIbet customers can now watch and wager daily on live racing from Sweden, including action from the famed Solvalla, home of the Elitloppet, and Bro Park, home of the Stockholm Cup.
HPIbet will offer various special points promotions over the coming weeks to welcome Swedish racing to the platform. Original content previewing and providing expert analysis for Swedish racing will also be shared across Woodbine’s social channels.
The 2021 UET Grand Prix, which will take place on October 9 at Åby Racetrack, near Gothenburg, is the first major Swedish stakes race offered on HPIbet. The UET Grand Prix brings together the finest four-year-old colt and filly trotters from the member nations of the European Trotting Union. The full field for this year’s event was officially confirmed following last weekend’s eliminations at Solvalla and Vincennes in Paris.
