Wednesday's card of harness racing proved difficult for those wagering on MGM Northfield Park as the Pick-5 and Pick-6 both went unsolved once again, providing an opportunity for a big score on Saturday, Sept. 30.
The Pick-5 that begins in Race 6 features a two-day carryover of $23,892 and is estimated to have $100,000 in the pool when all is said and done. The Pick-5 features a $1 minimum investment and a low 14 per cent takeout.
The Pick-6 begins in Race 8, features a three-day carryover of $7,739, and is estimated to have $20,000 in the pool when wagering ends. The 50-cent non-jackpot Pick-6 also features a low 14 per cent takeout.
Post time for the 15-race program on Saturday is 6 p.m. Racing switches to a five-day-a-week schedule in October when the Home of the Flying Turns will race Saturday through Wednesday beginning at 6 p.m.
