Grand River Crowns Second TCNHC Player

Longtime patron and astute handicapper Pat Salter is Grand River Raceway’s second representative for the $25,000 TROT Canada National Handicapping Champion

ship.

Salter was one of 30 finalists in the Grand River Raceway Geek Squad Fall Handicapping Tournament on Monday evening. She emerged the victor with a hypothetical bankroll of $100.60, finding four winners and one runner-up in the seven-race contest.

The Arthur, ON resident won $200 for her efforts and will advance as one of three representatives for Grand River Raceway at the TCNHC in Ottawa in November.

Grand River will qualify one more player for the TCNHC on Tuesday night.
