Live turf racing continues at the Meadowlands Racetrack every Friday and Saturday night through Saturday, Oct. 14 with a 7 p.m. post.
On Saturday, Oct.14, the National Thoroughbred League (NTL), the first-ever team horse racing league, is hosting the inaugural New York Cup at the Meadowlands Racetrack, in partnership with the Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival, and featuring a performance by the legendary Ja Rule. The great Andrew Zimmern hosts (and cooks), as 20 celebrity chefs craft dishes inspired by the six NTL cities.
Live harness racing returns to the Meadowlands on Friday, Oct. 20 and runs through Saturday, Dec. 30 with a 6:20 p.m. post time.
Guests looking to dine can enjoy the Pink Restaurant Buffet featuring local, fresh ingredients curated by executive chef Chris Burnett for $49.95 on Friday and Saturday evenings.
On Saturday, Oct. 21, the track is hosting a five-course wine dinner in the second floor Lounge for $79.95 plus tax and gratuity. The menu’s delicious fare is expertly paired with both red and white wine and includes brie en courte, crab cakes, ribeye steak, walnut cake.
Meadowlands will host River of Dreams, the Billy Joel/American Elton John seven piece Tribute Show, on Saturday, Oct. 28, an exciting and engaging live musical tour through the piano legends' greatest hits and more. The finale is Billy and Elton trading each other's hits in a very unique way. Doors open 6 p.m. and the show runs from 7-9 p.m. in Trackside.
The Meadowlands Racetrack is home to Fanduel - America’s #1 sportsbook. It is open seven days a week and parking is free. Numerous HD TVs are spread throughout the sportsbook along with self-service and teller operated wagering machines so guests do not miss a moment of the action.
