Driver Todd Trites won all but one of Sunday's six wagering races including a pair of $15,000 New Brunswick Breeders Stakes featured on the afternoon card at Connell Park in Woodstock, N.B.

In the three-year-old pacing filly stakes division, trainer Janice Hubbard's homebred Nannie Bernice ($2.10) and Trites battled past pacesetter Time And Again (Gilles Barrieau) into the stretch and opened up 3-1/2 lengths at the end for the 1:59.4 score. The Artspeak-Favorite Odds filly was also a winner in the June opening leg of the New Brunswick Breeders Stakes. It was more than 20 lengths back to the other starters, Huggies Spirit (Stephen Trites) and Silent Movie Star (Wayne Watson).

Resuscitate ($3.80) led all the way in the two-year-old pacing colt stakes division for Trites, scoring a maiden-breaking victory in 2:02.3 by three-quarters of a length over Majestic Mason (Barrieau), with Stagenamehercules (Mark Haig) the best of the rest. Owned by Back To The Races Stable, the Stonebridge Terror-Just Breathe gelding headlined a perfect day at the races for trainer George Rennison, who went four-for-four on Sunday's card.

Trites teamed up with the Rennison stable for the rest of their victories. Their other winners included U Bettim Watching ($5.20), Top Of Her Trade ($8.10) and American Risk ($3.20), who wired the field in the $2,500 Winners Over Pace in 2:00.2 to close out the action.

Mike McGuigan was the only other driver to make it to the winner's circle on the main betting card with the Ronnie Gass-trained Avid ($12.90) upsetting Allan Jones stablemates J J Breanne (Barrieau) and the Trites-driven Elm Grove Quest.

A pair of non-wagering New Brunswick Breeders Stakes match races, each with a purse of $9,000, were won by Bala Stable's three-year-old pacing gelding Hyperventilate, who bested Jedi Jim by 4-1/2 lengths in 2:09 for driver Mark Haig and trainer Wayne Watson, and two-year-old pacing filly Wickham in a walkover timed in 2:07.4 for trainer/driver Mike McGuigan and owners Charles, Daniel and Maxim Gaudreault. Hyperventilate is a full-brother to Resuscitate and Wickham is a McWicked half-sister to Time And Again.
