Two of Harrington Raceway’s top drivers, Montrell Teague and Art Stafford, Jr. combined for seven wins on the Tuesday 13-race program.
Stafford, Jr., who had four wins, scored with Sichuan ($14.20), Clean Shave ($4.80), Cruzinforavictory ($4.80) and Odds On Delta ($6). For the second straight night Teague had a trio of wins, which started in the first race aboard two-year-old Ezycure ($5) and followed with Philly Card ($7) and Mrs Teachey ($11.20). Allan Davis, Teague and Stafford, Jr. comprise the top three of the driver standings. Meanwhile, Joe Columbo maintains a comfortable lead in the trainer standings over Chuck Crissman, Jr. and Tyler Davis.
Jason Thompson and Mike Cole each had a driving double. One of Cole’s wins came in the $15,000 feature aboard his own Western Secret A, who was a 1:53.1 winner by two lengths in a winners-over conditioned pace for mares. The Columbo trainee recorded her fourth win of the year.
