On Saturday (August 3) at Running Aces, the track’s current leading driver, Dean Magee, won a $9,000 conditioned race with Contemporay Legend.
The victory was one of his three wins during the card.
Magee also went over the $30-million plateau in career earnings during the card. The milestone was celebrated with the presentation of a banner in the winner's circle after the Contemporay Legend race.
Magee currently stands atop all drivers at Running Aces as the track’s leading driver of the season (12 wins currently separate him from his closest rival).
Magee, a native of Wisconsin, has won 4,796 career races over the course of his career.
Live racing at Running Aces continues three nights per week – Saturdays and Sundays at 6 p.m. and Tuesdays at 7 p.m. (Central). The track’s Sunday (August 4) program features a Pick-5 Jackpot carryover of $5,016.65.
