The 2022 season came to an end at Georgian Downs on Tuesday evening, but there was no suspense when it came to deciding who would take home the driving and training titles – this year’s winners were ‘home and cooled’ going into the closing card.
Brett MacDonald won the dash title by virtue of his 45 trips to victory lane over the course of the season. Travis Cullen and Tyler Borth were next in line with 34 wins apiece.
Richard Moreau staked claim to another training title thanks to a 38-win campaign at the Innisfil, ON oval. Jodie Cullen (20 wins) was the runner-up in the standings, while Murray Brethour (14 wins) wound up third.
