Cappelli Recovering From Surgery

According to a report by Lower Hudson Journal News, Louis Cappelli, the driving force behind the multi-million-dollar entertainment expansion at the Concord Resort Hotel in New York State, is recovering from surgery to repair

a brain aneurysm.

The article states that the aneurysm was detected July 20 and was "repaired" via a the successful operation the following day.

"…it was identified quickly at a hospital on Long Island and he was flown to Manhattan," Cappelli spokesman Geoff Thompson was quoted as saying. "That really was a very wonderful thing. ... It's rather miraculous. He's doing very, very well."

The Concord expansion is expected to be the new home of the new Monticello Raceway.
