For the second weekend in a row, The Meadowlands in New Jersey will feature a parade of stars in a variety of high profile stakes.

Here’s a preview of what fans can look forward to on Saturday evening:

$131,250 Six Pack Mares Open Trot

Bella Bellini was breathtaking in a leg of the Graduate Series last weekend for the tandem of driver Dexter Dunn and trainer Richard ‘Nifty’ Norman.  The four-year-old daughter of Bar Hopping-Bella Dolce sat last throughout in that assignment before sweeping to the lead in deep stretch.  Her :25.4 closing quarter earned her a 1:51 triumph.

The ageless Atlanta makes her first start since capturing the $211,000 Armbro Flight Stakes at Woodbine Mohawk Park on June 18.  The daughter of Chapter Seven-Hemi Blue Chip will look to bolster her 2-2-0 record from four starts this season for driver Yannick Gingras and trainer Ron Burke.

$147,000 Crawford Farms Open Trot

Ecurie D DK kicked off his year with a 1:49.1 score in the Arthur J. Cutler Memorial at The Meadowlands on May 21 for trainer/driver Ake Svanstedt, and that duo will be looking for a carbon copy performance in this rich tilt.  The son of Infinitif-Too Soon is an 18-time winner with career earnings in excess of $865,000.

A trio of other trotters also posted wins in their most recent starts, and they’ll try to derail Ecurie D DK in his quest to repeat.

Forbidden Trade has won back-to-back races versus top class trotters at Woodbine Mohawk Park for driver Bob McClure and trainer Luc Blais, and they’ll depart from Post 1 on Saturday evening.

Lovedbythemasses captured the $100,000 Maxie Lee Invitational at Harrah’s Philadelphia on May 29, and more recently he served notice with a 1:51.1 qualifying score on June 25 at The Meadowlands.  He’ll depart from Post 3 for the team of driver Tim Tetrick and trainer Jeff Cullipher.

Ahundreddollarbill will look to extend his winning streak to three straight following his latest tally in last weekend’s Graduate Series.  Todd McCarthy guided the four-year-old son of Chapter Seven to that triumph, and he’ll be behind the Tony Alagna trainee from Post 4 on Saturday evening.

$98,000 Roll With Joe Open Pace

Charlie May turned a two-hole trip into a narrow triumph in last weekend’s Graduate Series action at The Meadowlands, and he’ll shoot for a similar effort in this rich contest for driver David Miller and trainer Steve Carter.  The four-year-old son of Mcardle-Stipple Hanover will depart from Post 2 as he shoots for the 20th victory of his career.

Rockyroad Hanover was a fast-closing third in his Graduate Series assignment last weekend for driver Todd McCarthy and trainer Tony Alagna, and he’ll be on the lookout for a similar performance on Saturday evening.  The son of Captaintreacherous is slated to leave from Post 3.

$143,000 Perfect Sting Mares Open Pace

Test Of Faith settled for second in last weekend’s Graduate Series assignment despite kicking home in :24.3, and she’ll have to work just as hard this weekend considering she’s drawn Post 10 for driver David Miller and trainer Brett Pelling.  The four-year-old daughter of Art Major-Cannae Cammie is a 25-time winner who will be looking to beef up a bank account that currently sits at $1,778,314.

Lyons Sentinel will look to bounce back from a fifth-place finish in her latest outing – the $315,000 Roses Are Red Stakes at Woodbine Mohawk Park.  The five-year-old daughter of Captaintreacherous-Tutu Hanover will start from Post 8 for driver Tim Tetrick and trainer Jim King Jr.

$99,500 Roll With Joe Open Pace

Bulldog Hanover torched the oval at The Meadowlands in 1:47 in last weekend’s Graduate Series, and he’ll start from Post 2 for driver Dexter Dunn and trainer Noel Daley in his quest to extend his winning streak to four-in-a-row.  The four-year-old son of Shadow Play-BJs Squall is an 18-time winner who recently surpassed $1 million in career earnings.

Allywag Hanover, who has yet to find his sea legs for trainer Brett Pelling this season, will start from Post 7 for driver Todd McCarthy.  The five-year-old son of Captaintreacherous-Anderosa Hanover went 10-for-19 last season, but is now winless in his first two starts of the season.  He’ll be looking to add to a bankroll that stands at $1,309,245.
