Mach Three mare Maching Me Zilly received some good fortune when two scratches took her from the second-worst post at Harrah’s Philadelphia (post 7) to the best (post 5), and then she made the most of the opportunity by posting her second straight win, this one in 1:54.3 to take the $17,000 featured distaff pace Wednesday afternoon (June 27) at the riverside oval.

Driver Yannick Gingras made two moves to control the throttle with the favoured Maching Me Zilly, and then they dug in during the last five-sixteenths to withstand the first-over bid of second choice Oneida Blue Chip by a length. Trainer Scott DiDomenico trains the 7-time winner for owners John McGill, Brian Carsey, and Triple D Stables Inc.

The two-year-old trotting filly Sky Is Mine made her pari-mutuel debut a victorious one in 1:58.4 for trainer Noel Daley and All Laid Out Stable Inc. The daughter of Muscle Hill and Raising Roxanna was put on the lead past the quarter by driver Andy McCarthy and was in control from there, with the 2-1 second choice reporting home 2-1/2 lengths clear of favoured Havree De Grace while recording an individually-timed :58 last half.
