Panesthetic A Winner In The Stallion Series

Panesthetic, driven by Jim Morrill Jr., captured a division of The Stallion Series Saturday night at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs

Leaving from the three post, Morrill Jr. put the winner on top from the start of the race, taking the seven horse field to the opening quarter in 27 seconds, half in 55.3 and three-quarters in 1:23.2 before stopping the timer in 1:51.1.

This was the third straight victory for the three-year-old The Panderosa gelding trained by Scott Blackler. Panesthetic was coming into this race after a 1:49.4 victory at the Meadowlands.

Shakearosa, driven by Jim King Jr., closed hard to grab second, three-quarters of a length back. Third-place went to Eagle Jolt (George Napolitano Jr.).

EZ Moving, with Matt Kakaley in the sulky, was another winner in The Stallion series, pacing the mile in 1:52.2. Kakaley, who had three wins on the night along with Morrill Jr. through nine races of the 16-race card, brought EZ Moving up the pacing lane to collect the victory.
