Racing Returns To Quebec Sunday

The Regional Circuit of Horse Racing of Quebec (CRCCQ) will be presenting a 10-dash program of racing Sunday, June 27 at Ferme Drummond

in St-Hugues, Que.

A total of $12,000 in purses will be offered over 11 races. Fans of live harness racing will once again have the pleasure of playing the ponies as pari-mutuel wagering will be available on-track. First race post time is 1:00 p.m.

Trot Radio's Norm Borg talked to Alain Veilleux of Le Circuit Regional about their efforts to rebuild racing in the province, including 10 days in September at Hippodrome de Quebec.

"Don't worry, they're going to be back. It's impossible that the races are over in Quebec."
