Driver Russell Foster hit a milestone in driving laurels this past Sunday (June 11) at Ocean Downs, where he scored a wire-to-wire victory in posting his 2,000th career win.
Owned by Arty Foster III and Russell Foster Racing LLC of Cordova, Maryland, Techtopia Hanover made every pole a winning one in scoring a three-quarters of a length decision in 1:55.2.
Trained by Megan Foster, the six-year-old Artspeak gelding pushed his 2023 total to $31,890 with lifetime earnings of over $219,000. It was his fourth win of the year.
Friends and family of Foster gathered in the winner’s circle for a presentation.
