While it might not be possible to walk a mile in Jody Jamieson's shoes, it is possible to experience what it's like to see a mile through Jody's eyes.
Mohawk Racetrack recently filmed a video during qualifiers with a GoPro camera attached to Jamieson's helmet. The horse prominently featured in the video is Urbanite Hanover, and he's shown winning his June 5 qualifier.

Interesting video. I would rather hear all the sounds of the race, and the prelude and followup, not some really annoying elevator music.
