Dresden Raceway will be hosting the $15,900 final of the Mark Austin Pacing Series on Sunday (June 12).

Newcomer All The Cheddar was impressive pacing over Dresden in 2:00.3 in his first start, posting a last quarter kick of :29.3 for owners Kathryn Cochrane and Steve Besterd. The three-year-old Betterthancheddar colt will score from post two in the final.

Guy Smiley will be a force to be reckoned with as well after finishing first in both preliminaries of the Austin Series, even though he was set back in the second leg for interference while on a break. The four-year-old Warrawee Needy horse came a last quarter in 28.4 to win the first leg in 2:00.3 for owner Don Moore.

Risky Idea, Im A Stable Genius, Darkest Desire and Doc Houston will also take some money.

Dresden Raceway is also hosting Sports Day, with kids being given certificates for soccer balls and frisbees. All children are encouraged to wear their favourite sports jerseys.

The Pick 4 carryover is $940 for this Sunday.

Post time is slated for 1 p.m. (EDT).
