Lady Suffolk Trot Friday At Freehold

In Friday's split divisions of the $80,000 Lady Suffolk Trot, which is the female version of The Dexter Cup at Freehold Raceway, Religulous with John Campbell up has been tabbed as the 2-1 morning line favourite in the opening division

.

The Jeff Webster trainee is the biggest money winner in the quintet of sophomore filly trotters. Religulous, a daughter of Muscles Yankee, banked $53,516 in her 10-race freshman campaign.

In the second division Sweetspellosuccess is 8-5 in the early line to defeat her four competitors. Trainer-driver Trond Smedshammer is at the helm and she will be looking to make her 2010 debut the fourth win of her career. The Credit Winner distaffer earned $91,274 in 2009 while racking up three wins.

The second choice at 5-2 is Pocohontas Fame, an invader from the Sunshine State who was the queen of the Florida sire stakes last year winning 10 of 13 with a best clocking of 2:00. Andy Miller draws the call for trainer Linda Toscano.
