Rojo Man captured Thursday’s (May 4) feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, but he had to share the spotlight with Mike Wilder. The veteran reinsman had a spectacular day, piloting six winners on the 12-race card, including a pair for trainer Todd Luther.
In that feature, an $11,500 conditioned trot, Rojo Man zipped to the early lead from post five for Hunter Myers and held off the late challenge of LBs Legacy to defeat him by 1-1/2 lengths in a career-best 1:56.3. Jameson N Lime earned show.
Ashley Brown trains Rojo Man, a four-year-old Swan For All-Ultimate Red gelding, for Calvin Hoover.
Live harness racing at The Meadows continues Friday, with first post at 12:45 p.m.
