Officials with Alberta Downs have announced that the track has been forced to cancel its card of live harness racing scheduled for Saturday, June 1.
The cancellation has come due to saturation from heavy rainfall this week.
A decision has been made to move five races to Sunday, June 2, including the Wild Rose three-year-old filly stakes.
The remaining five races will be moved to Monday, June 3.
Horsemen are advised to wait for new draw sheet, which will be posted as soon as possible.
Alberta Downs has provided an update regarding qualifier details. Qualifiers will not be held on Sunday, June 2. Horsemen are asked to please enter by Saturday for qualifiers on Monday, June 3.
