A Delightful Act N utilized the passing lane to surge to a 1:53.3 win Tuesday (May 24) at Harrington Raceway in the featured $20,000 Mares Open.
Owned by Nanticoke Racing, Josh Parker, Steve Messick and Kevin Evans, the six-year-old Bettors Delight received a garden trip behind favourite Feeling Sweet, last week's winner, and charged home down the passing lane in the stretch to score a one-length win. Feeling Sweet was second with Cruzinforavictory third. It was the fourth win of the year for A Delightful Act N, who boosted her career earnings to $165,933 for co-owner and trainer Parker. Ross Wolfenden drove the $6.20 winner.
Tony Morgan, Corey Callahan, Jason Thompson and Art Stafford Jr. each had driving doubles.
