Even with the weight of a $3.5 million price tag on his horse, trainer Kelvin Harrison talked to the Meadowlands' Sam McKee prior to Auckland Reactor's North American debut on Saturday and discussed if he felt pressure

to immediately win with the down-under wonder.

"Listen, you'd love to win but it's actually six months since he's had a real strong race," Harrison quickly pointed out. "You can train and qualify them all you want but when you put them in to go with the big boys, you just hope everything goes good, he gets a good trip and see how it goes."

McKee also asked Harrison if it would be difficult for the New Zealand champion to adapt to the the North American style of harness racing, what the trainer felt was his greatest strength as a racehorse, and what the tentative schedule would be for Auckland Reactor if he stays good and healthy.

The six-minute interview, from before the sixth place finish of Auckland Reactor on Saturday night, is available below.
