Veteran trainer Murray Brethour dominated Thursday’s opening night card at Mohawk Racetrack thanks to winning efforts by a trio of pacing fillies from his stable
.
Brethour, a career winner of 1,038 races and purses in excess of $10 million, watched Concert Over (1:55.1), Mileys Big World (1:53.4) and Norvena Hanover (1:55.1) win their respective conditioned assignments on the 11-race program. The three-win performance bumped Brethour's win total to 12 on the season on the WEG circuit.
Driving triples on Thursday card went to WEG’s leading driver in 2012, Jody Jamieson, along with teamster Paul MacDonell.
