Grand Cayman Repeats In Harrington Open

Vincent Ferriero Jr.'s Grand Cayman scored his second straight win in the $20,000 Open Pace on Monday at Harrington Raceway in 1:52.

The five-year-old Always B Miki gelding, in rein to Corey Callahan, recorded his 20th lifetime win via a wire-to-wire effort in which he held off a late charge by Wager On Me for the win. Major Betts finished third. Trained by Crissy Crissman-Bier, Grand Cayman has banked $83,489 this season.   He paid $3.20 to win.

Montrell Teague and Tony Morgan each had three wins on the card, while Russell Foster had a driving double. 

Live harness racing will continue on a Monday through Wednesday schedule. Post time is 4:30 p.m.
