The winning streak is now three-in-a-row and counting for Oney Hall thanks to his front-stepping score in Monday’s $36,000 Preferred Handicap for trotters at Woodbine Mohawk Park. Sent off as the 3-5 favourite in his quest to triple up, Oney Hall was parked and pressing Perfetto to the quarter pole in :27.2 before sweeping to the top and setting the remaining splits. Trevor Henry let the Bob McIntosh trainee cruised through middle panels of :56.2 and 1:26 before being confronted once again by Perfetto as the field turned for home. Oney Hall went into sprint mode, and his :27.4 closing quarter was enough to win by 1-1/2 lengths over Perfetto in 1:53.4. Dream Nation rallied late and wound up third best in the eight-horse affair.

Alan Leavitt of Lexington, KY owns the six-year-old son of Deweycheatumnhowe-On With The Show who now owns a 3-0-2 record from seven starts this season.
